Approved NYSC Registration Centers in Bayelsa State

The NYSC has officially designated several centers across Bayelsa for 2025 registration. Prospective corps members are advised to visit any of the approved centers to complete their biometric and physical registration.

NYSC 2025 Registration Requirements

Before heading to any registration center, ensure you have the following documents and information ready:

1. Final School Clearance

The NYSC mobilization process begins once you’ve completed your final clearance in your institution. This is usually done through the student affairs department or exams and records unit.

2. Statement of Results

After clearance, obtain your official statement of results (for B.Sc or HND). This document will be required for both registration and at the orientation camp.

3. Institutional NYSC Sign-Up

While waiting for your result, you can register your interest in NYSC at the student affairs office of your school.

4. JAMB Matriculation List Verification

Ensure your name is on the JAMB matriculation list. If it’s not there, you’ll be ineligible for NYSC. You can verify this on the JAMB portal.

5. NYSC Senate List Confirmation

Once your school uploads your name to the NYSC portal, verify that it appears on the Senate list. Only candidates on this list can register online.

6. NYSC Online Registration

If your name appears on the Senate list, proceed to complete your registration via the NYSC portal https://portal.nysc.org.ng. You’ll be required to upload documents and fill out your personal information.

7. Call-Up Letter

After successful registration, wait for your Call-Up Letter. This document contains your deployment state, reporting date, and other important camp details.

Documents Required at the NYSC Orientation Camp

Ensure the following items are ready for your orientation camp registration:

• Final Year School ID Card
  • Original copy + 2 photocopies
• Statement of Result (B.Sc./HND)
  • Original + 4 photocopies
  • For Polytechnic graduates: ND + HND results
  • Foreign graduates: Original certificates only
• Medical Graduates
  • Original registration certificates from relevant medical councils
  • Evidence of internship or housemanship completion
• Call-Up Letter
  • Original + 3 photocopies
  • Do NOT laminate
• Green Card
  • Original + 3 photocopies
  • Printed in color; Do NOT laminate
• Passport Photographs
  • Eight (8) recent passport photos with white background
• Medical Certificate of Fitness
  • Obtain from a government-recognized hospital. (You can contact us for assistance.)
• Photocopies of All Original Documents
  • Carry both original and photocopies of every document you’re submitting.

Important Notes

• The Green Card and Call-Up Letter must be printed in color.
• Laminated documents (especially the Call-Up Letter or Green Card) will be rejected at the orientation camp.
• Make multiple photocopies of all documents—camp officials often collect more than one copy.
