NYSC Lagos Welcomes 2025 Batch “B” Stream 1 Corp Members to camp
It’s official the 2025 Batch “B” Stream I Orientation Course has begun, and the energy at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp, Iyana–Ipaja, is already buzzing with excitement and fresh beginnings! This morning, the Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, personally welcomed the newest set of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) as they arrived at the camp gates tired from their journeys, but full of hope and anticipation.
With a warm smile and genuine excitement, Mrs. Salmwang didn’t just welcome them, she walked the talk. She took a tour around the camp, stopped to interact with new arrivals, and even shared refreshments, setting a positive and reassuring tone for what lies ahead.
“This is your first step into service, growth, and discovery,” she told them in an impromptu pep talk, encouraging them to embrace the NYSC journey with openness and enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, camp officials were actively at their posts handling registration processes, directing new Corps Members to their designated stations, and ensuring everything moved smoothly. The State Coordinator also took a moment to acknowledge and motivate these officers, reinforcing the importance of teamwork and dedication during the orientation period.
Registration in Full Swing
For many PCMs, the day kicked off with registration, a key step that marks the beginning of their service year. From document checks to biometrics and accommodation allocation, the process may seem a bit hectic but Lagos camp officials were on ground, providing guidance every step of the way.
As the camp settles into rhythm, one thing is clear: Lagos is ready for its Corps Members, and the Corps Members are ready for Lagos. With a strong start and a warm welcome from the leadership, this stream promises to be one for the books.
To all Batch B Stream I Corps Members deployed to Lagos, welcome home. Your NYSC story begins now. Make it count.
