NYSC Resumes Payment of Arrears with New Allowance – Nysc 2025

Good news for corps members across Nigeria!  The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially resumed the payment of arrears after a two-month pause..

This marks the first disbursement since June 3, and it comes with even better news, The arrears now reflects the recently approved N77,000 monthly allowance.

For thousands of corps members who have been anxiously waiting, this update is a huge relief. Many had expressed concerns over the delay, especially as living costs continue to rise everyday. The allowance increase not only eases financial stress but also serves as recognition of the critical role youths play in national development.

The resumed payments will cover outstanding arrears, ensuring corps members get what is due to them.

As disbursements begin, PCMs and serving corps members are encouraged to stay alert for payment notifications from their banks.
