Mandatory Corrections Every Prospective Corps Member Should Make Now – NYSC 2025
If you’re a Prospective Corps Member (PCM) for the Nysc 2025 batches, this is the perfect time to double-check your NYSC dashboard. The portal is open, and NYSC has made it easier to correct any mistakes before camp registration begins..
Here’s a quick guide to what you need to know:
Mandatory Corrections Available on Your Dashboard
Use the links on your NYSC dashboard to correct:
- Your Name
- Date of Birth (DOB)
- Qualification
- Course of Study
- Class of Degree
If your details are already correct, no action is needed. These options are only for PCMs whose information is incorrect.
Important Notes to Keep in Mind
• After you submit corrections on your dashboard, they don’t take effect immediately, be patient while NYSC processes them.
• Apply for Date of Birth (DOB) correction now while the portal is still open. Once processed, you’ll receive an email notification.
• Corrections to Course of Study, Class of Degree, and Qualification are handled by your Student Affairs Officer (SAO) online. Contact your institution directly, not NYSC Admin.
• If your Date of Graduation is wrong, your institution must officially write to NYSC to request a correction.
If there’s a mismatch between your Statement of Result and your details on the NYSC dashboard (especially your name or graduation date), you will not be registered at the orientation camp.
Make these corrections now while the portal is still active. Don’t wait until the last minute, this is your chance to ensure a smooth mobilization and avoid surprises at camp.
