Big Brother Naija 2026 Day 6 Live Updates (Videos)
Day 6 Recap: Araga Confesses to Goddessa on Big Brother Naija 2026 Season 11
From a heartfelt confession between Araga and Goddessa to a fiery kitchen clash, a shopping spree, and the season’s first Saturday Night Link Up, Day 6 in the Big Brother Naija house had it all.
It seems Araga and Goddessa simply cannot get enough of each other. The pair were among the early risers on Saturday morning, and by the end of the day, Araga made one thing crystal clear: no matter who else is pursuing him, his eyes are only on Goddessa.
8:00am: Chimsom Calls Tired Housemates for a Meeting
It was a slow start to Saturday morning, with only a handful of housemates up early, Barry, Ricky, Keivo, Chimsom Chuka, Goddessa, and Araga. When Sheba came downstairs and greeted everyone, she noticed Keivo hadn’t responded to her, prompting a quick apology from him once she checked in.
As Barry got busy cooking in the kitchen, Keivo and Sheba joined him for a chat. Not long after, Chimsom Chuka began calling housemates down for a meeting, though Nomy and Goddessa took their time getting there, with Goddessa jokingly warning, “they will beat me and you today.” Once everyone gathered, Head of House Chimsom Chuka read out the general cleaning rules for the house.
9:00am: Araga Tells Goddessa “It’s You I Want”
After the meeting, Araga and Goddessa spent more time together, drifting into a conversation about love interests in the house, specifically the ones circling Araga. Goddessa encouraged him to let others pursue him, admitting she’d enjoy watching people chase him. Araga, however, wasn’t interested in mixed signals. He told her plainly: “It’s you I want.”
It’s the kind of moment Big Brother Naija fans have been waiting for, especially after the pair’s earlier rocky patch.
Shortly after, Araga and Goddessa mentioned it would be nice if Biggie played some music in the house, and almost as if Biggie was listening, Sheba and Bluethopia broke into song and dance in the lounge, entertaining Neche, Kamsy, Barry, Cassi, Mercedes, and Oyin.
10:00am: Oyin and Abi Clash, Flora Joins In
Tensions boiled over between Oyin, Abi, and Flora after Oyin and Flora complained about cleanliness in the house. Abi stepped in, telling them to leave the empty bottles since she’d handle the kitchen herself. But when she returned to find the complaints still ongoing, heated words were exchanged.
Chimsom Chuka tried to calm Oyin down, but by the time other housemates arrived, they walked into a full blown argument. Bells and Keivo stepped in to comfort Abi, who was left in tears.
Flora, still upset over the incident, retreated to the bedroom with Mercedes to vent, while Cassi later asked Abi directly what the commotion had all been about.
11:00am: Team Nurture Plans the Shopping Spree
Biggie announced the start of the shopping spree, and housemates gathered in the lounge to compile their wish list. Temi Nkem, Neche, and Mercedes tried chipping in suggestions, but Chimsom Chuka reminded everyone that only the winning team could make the final calls. Before heading out, the men made sure to check in with the ladies: “Girls, is there anything you need?”
12:00pm: Temi Nkem Takes on the Head Chef Role
Mercedes, Ricky, and Yusuf spent time discussing the upcoming Saturday Night Link Up, with Mercedes predicting plenty of masks would fall off by the end of the night. Ricky, meanwhile, was ready to make memories, joking that he wanted the gin to hit properly.
In the kitchen, Temi Nkem stepped up as head chef for lunch, preparing noodles and sausage with help from Sheba and Keivo. Barry later found her struggling with the sausages, and when the food was finally ready, the verdict was mixed. Sheba called it dry, Keivo agreed, and extra seasoning quickly followed.
1:00pm: Mercedes Plays Matchmaker
Ever the entertainer, Mercedes turned matchmaker, putting Sultex on the spot about his feelings for Bells. When Sultex admitted he liked her, Mercedes wasted no time declaring she was shipping the two of them. Bells confirmed she liked Sultex too, while Flora quietly observed the exchange from across the room.
2:00pm: What’s Your Type?
Flora, Yusuf, Mercedes, Sultex, Keivo, Oyin, and Bells settled into a relationship focused conversation. When Yusuf asked Flora about her type, she revealed a preference for tall, well dressed men. Mercedes also opened up about her current relationship status.
Elsewhere, Chimsom Chuka and Gerard bonded over a game of table tennis, using the time to chat about Gerard’s experience in the house so far.
3:00pm: Chimsom Chuka Reflects on His Hustling Days
Oyin took a trip down memory lane, opening up about her first relationship. She admitted it was amazing overall but noted that men will always be men, recalling how he’d deny things before offering grand apologies. Nearby, Neche, Cassi, and Gerard gisted away in the kitchen.
Chimsom Chuka also shared a personal story about his hustling days, recalling a time he had no money and turned to selling bread at school to get by.
4:00pm: Goddessa and Abi Bond, and Deliver Honest House Assessments
Goddessa spent time bonding with Abi, admitting the two didn’t know each other well enough yet. Sheba briefly joined them, and the conversation touched on Bluethopia and Ricky before shifting to lighter topics like “fine boy” Barry and “dark chocolate” Yusuf.
After Sheba stepped away, Goddessa and Abi got into a full, honest breakdown of their fellow housemates. Goddessa admitted she wasn’t sure Kamsy had fully come out of her shell yet, while reserving judgment on Chimsom Chuka until she’d seen more of him. She described Temi Nkem as naturally curious but still finding her footing, praised Barry and Gerard for untapped potential, and called Keivo sweet but shy.
She affectionately labelled Bluethopia “mad” in the best way, predicted big things for Neche with the right partner, defended Sheba and Nomy as often misunderstood, and didn’t hold back on Mercedes, describing her as someone who “talks too much and wants too much.” As for Abi herself, Goddessa called her open hearted but frequently misunderstood too.
5:00pm: The Salon Officially Opens
It was officially glam o’clock. Chimsom Chuka read out Biggie’s brief announcing the salon’s opening, and the moment it was declared open, housemates rushed in to secure hair extensions and kickstart their glow up ahead of the night’s festivities.
6:00pm: Glam Mode Activated
The salon stayed the busiest room in the house as hair was washed, braided, and styled, and fresh trims were handed out. With the Saturday Night Link Up on the horizon, everyone was determined to bring their best look.
7:00pm: Biggie Says “Express Yourself”
Anticipation reached fever pitch as Chimsom Chuka gathered the housemates to read out Biggie’s party brief. This week’s theme: Express Yourself. Biggie encouraged housemates to embrace their individuality, show up in their own unique style, and party like there was no Sunday.
The briefing wasn’t without its chaos, as side conversations repeatedly forced Chimsom Chuka to call the house back to order. Reflecting on it afterward, Araga joked that if he ever became HoH, he wouldn’t let the housemates wear out his voice trying to keep the peace.
8:00pm: Final Touch Ups Before the Big Night
With an hour left before the party, the house buzzed with last minute prep. Makeup kits came out, final looks were polished, and excitement built ahead of the season’s very first Saturday Night Link Up.
9:00pm: The Dance Floor Comes Alive
The party room officially opened, and the housemates didn’t waste a second bringing the energy. Mercedes owned the floor with her twerking skills, while Goddessa danced freely with Yusuf before later showing off more moves with Barry. Abi and Sheba kept the dance floor buzzing from start to finish.
10:00pm: The Vibes Hit Another Level
As the night progressed, the party only got livelier, with bolder dance moves and louder music taking over. Goddessa remained one of the standout dancers of the night, moving between partners before eventually settling into a dance with Gerard.
11:00pm: Pizza, Laughter, and Making Peace
Even after the music stopped, the night wasn’t quite over. Biggie opened the storeroom, treating the housemates to a well deserved pizza feast after all the dancing. Meanwhile, Bells and Sultex revisited an earlier incident from the party, with Sultex dramatically prostrating to apologise, a gesture that got exactly the reaction he wanted, ending the night in laughter and peace.
Another action packed day proves that Big Brother Naija 2026 Season 11 is only just getting started, between budding romances, house clashes, and the season’s first big party, Show Ya Sef continues to deliver.
