The tension inside the Big Brother Naija house continues to rise as the competition moves closer to the final stages. Following the triple eviction of Doris, Big Soso, and Ivatar on Sunday night, the remaining housemates returned to the game with heightened pressure and shifting strategies as Week 7 nominations began.

With fewer contestants left in the house, every challenge now carries greater importance, and the fight for survival has become even more intense.

Thelma Lawson Wins Week 7 Head of House

Thelma Lawson finally secured her long awaited breakthrough as she defeated Faith in a closely contested Head of House challenge to emerge winner of Week 7.

After several near wins in previous weeks, Thelma’s victory marks a major turning point in her Big Brother Naija 2025 / 2026 journey. Her win guarantees her immunity from eviction and strengthens her influence inside the house at a crucial stage of the competition.

As Head of House, Thelma chose Mide as her guest to enjoy the exclusive HoH lounge experience, a decision that is expected to shape new dynamics within the house.

Kaybobo and Mensan Immunity Twist

Kaybobo was voted as the Most Influential Player of Week 6 by fellow housemates, earning him automatic immunity from nomination this week.

Mensan, on the other hand, received the house snail title due to his performance in the Head of House related task. This automatically placed him on the nomination list for possible eviction.

Big Brother Naija 2025 / 2026 Week 7 Nomination Twist

Big Brother introduced the red envelope challenge once again for Week 7 nominations.

A total of 13 red envelopes were hidden around the house for the 13 participating housemates. Each housemate had 10 minutes to find and collect one envelope. Sharing or exchanging envelopes was not allowed.

The Head of House Thelma Lawson and Most Influential Player Kaybobo were exempted from the challenge and automatically granted immunity.

Mensan, who was tagged as house snail, was also excluded from the challenge and automatically placed up for eviction.

Some housemates including Sultana and Kuture were unable to find any envelope during the search.

The remaining housemates opened their envelopes one after another, and all contained the message better luck next time.

HoH Veto Save Twist

As Head of House, Thelma Lawson was instructed to draw a trinket from the Tree of Trinkets. The message she received read save one, nominate two.

However, due to the structure of this week’s game and the limited nomination pool, the twist had no direct impact on the final outcome.

Big Brother Naija 2025 / 2026 Week 7 Housemates Up for Eviction

After all immunity privileges and exemptions were applied, only a few housemates remain safe this week.

Thelma Lawson as Head of House and Kaybobo as Most Influential Player are immune. Dede, Joanna, and Rooboy who were moved to the Secret Room are also safe.

All other participating housemates are up for possible eviction this week.
