The competition inside the Big Brother Naija house reached another intense stage in Week 7 as a large number of housemates faced the possibility of eviction. With the grand prize of ₦150 million still up for grabs, every decision inside the house now carries major consequences.

This week, almost all the remaining housemates found themselves on the nomination list. Only a few contestants secured safety through special privileges and twists introduced by Big Brother.

Head of House Thelma Lawson gained automatic immunity after winning the Head of House challenge. Kaybobo was also safe after emerging as the Most Influential Player of the Week.

Another surprising twist came when Dede, Joanna and Rooboy were moved into Biggie’s Secret Room earlier in the day. Their temporary removal from the main house meant they were exempt from the nomination process for the week.

With those exceptions in place, sixteen housemates were left at the mercy of viewers who had the power to decide who would continue in the competition and who would leave the show.

Thelma Lawson Dethrones Faith to Become Week 7 Head of House

After several close attempts in previous weeks, Thelma Lawson finally secured victory in the Head of House challenge for Week 7. She defeated the outgoing Head of House Faith in a competitive challenge that kept housemates and viewers on edge.

Her victory not only brought bragging rights but also guaranteed her immunity from eviction for the week.

As part of the privileges that come with the Head of House title, Thelma Lawson selected Mide as her guest to share the Head of House lounge with her during the week. The decision immediately sparked conversations among other housemates inside the house.

Kaybobo earned additional safety after housemates voted him as the Most Influential Player of Week 6. On the other hand, Mensan received the Snail of the House title following a poor performance in the challenge, which automatically placed him among the housemates nominated for eviction.

The nomination process featured the red envelope challenge which required housemates to search for hidden envelopes around the house.

A total of thirteen envelopes were placed around the house for the thirteen participating housemates. Each contestant had ten minutes to find and retrieve one envelope. The rules were simple as no housemate was allowed to exchange or share envelopes.

The Head of House Thelma Lawson and the Most Influential Player Kaybobo did not participate because of their immunity. Mensan was also excluded from the search due to his Snail of the House status, which automatically placed him on possible eviction.

During the challenge, some housemates failed to find any envelope.

HoH Veto Save Privilege

Following the nomination challenge, Thelma Lawson was required to draw a trinket from the Tree of Trinkets which determines the Head of House veto power.

The trinket she picked carried the instruction to save one housemate and nominate two others. However, because the nomination format already placed the remaining housemates on possible eviction, there was no opportunity to exercise either of the options.

After several days of voting, viewers decided which nominated housemates would remain in the competition. The contestants with the lowest percentage of votes were placed in the bottom positions.

Week 7 Evicted Housemates

During the live eviction show, two housemates with the lowest number of votes were evicted from the Big Brother Naija house. Here are the housemates evicted during the week 7 live eviction show;

1.     Denari

The Big Brother Naija journey has ended for Denari, who was evicted from the house in tonight’s live show. His departure marks the end of his race for the ₦150 million grand prize, but outside Biggie’s walls, the multi-talented housemate is already charting his next steps.

When quizzed by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu about his much-talked-about romance with former housemate Doris, Denari was quick to reassure fans that their connection won’t end with the show. “I will definitely continue the relationship with Doris now that I’m out,” he affirmed, drawing cheers from the live audience.

On life after Big Brother Naija, Denari revealed that he plans to actively pursue careers in acting, music, and presentation, while also staying open to new opportunities that come his way.

2. Tracy

After seven weeks in Big Brother’s house, Tracy’s time in the Big Brother Naija spotlight has come to an end. The housemate was evicted during tonight’s live show, bringing her race for the grand prize to a close.

Speaking on stage, Tracy expressed gratitude for the experience, admitting that while her stay was rewarding, it also came with challenges. “The house was mentally exhausting for me,” she confessed, noting how demanding the game could be.

Tracy also shared that her strongest connection in the house was with Zita, explaining that she always felt free and completely herself whenever they were together.
